DJs Contra La Fam Festival is an annual electronic music and visual art festival that specifically raises funds for the development and maintenance of local hunger social initiatives (in Barcelona). It is also used as a means to increase awareness of the need for social action, overall social consciousness and political engagement.

We intend to change the perceived frivolity of the electronic music scene while also providing a means of introducing contemporary electronic music to a new segment of the population. The festival increasingly is an unexpected platform giving voice to the unknown work of these local initiatives and for the need to support this work globally.
