nEgat was born in Barcelona
in 1981. He begins his contact with music ten
years later, with a Spanish guitar forgotten
in a lumber room and a booklet teaching the
7 basic chords. From this moment he starts experimenting
with melodies and hard rhythms, from Manolo
Cabezabolo's punk (his idol) to the most furious
metal. In 1996 there falls in his hands the
sequence software Fast Tracker II, which would
open him the doors to the world of the musical
creation across the computer software. With
this program he edits his first work of electronic
music, "In the parra". He passes since
then along styles and softwares until in 2002
he meets the collective Pi-7, with whom he gets
into the world of the most underground hard
techno and electro music, as well he starts
playing with the vynyls; little later he starts
defending his work in front of the audience,
under the name of The Prologue.
Promoter of the raves The Fact of Clowns, from
2006 starts also publishing, already as nEgat,
his works in several compilations of different
underground labels from Barcelona. Nowadays
he shares with Pauet an own label, K-label,
focused to publish electronic experimental music,
and takes the coordination of artists' Polèmika
association.
